With the Bencompare App, you have access to a digital safe for your important documents, such as contracts. You can also acquire additional services through this App. Personal data can be processed in this context. In this privacy statement we explain what we do with this data and what your rights and obligations are. The App is offered to you by Benergy B.V. in Groningen, the Netherlands.

General principles

In our processing activities, we comply with the requirements set by privacy law. This means, among other things, that:

Data about contracts you enter into the App are stored so that you have access to those in the form of a digital safe. It is also used to make you the best possible offer and to enable you to compare the offers from different providers. Contact details can be used to send these to you once you have given permission. If you enter other details in the App, it will be stated for which purposes this is used.

We collect statistics on the use of the App. We use Google Analytics to this end. These statistics are not linked to your name and address details or contracts and are not provided to third parties. Google is also not authorised to use this information for its own purposes.

Provision to third parties

Your data is not provided to third parties without your express permission, unless the law or the court oblige us to do this. Our partners will only be provided with insight into the general statistics about the users of our App on a fully anonymised basis.

You are able to share particular information with third parties yourself. We have no insight into what third parties do with the shared information and cannot recall or remove such.

The App is downloaded via a third-party Appstore. We have no control over which personal data the provider processes for what purpose. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements of the particular providers.

We take security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorised access to personal data. These include the continuous updating of the App to improve security.
